The Big Give, South Texas’ 24-hour online giving day, runs from 6 p.m. Sept. 23 to 6 p.m. Sept. 24, and we’re treating it as a Big Gay Give. Wherever you live in Texas, it’s a day to support the LGBTQ+ nonprofits in your area, through thebiggivesa.org if they’re taking part or directly through their websites.
In Austin, our directory includes OutYouth, allgo, Equality Texas and PFLAG Austin. Austin’s own giving day, Amplify Austin, comes around in the spring.
If you can’t give money, sharing their campaigns and going to their events helps too.
